Christmastime

Christmastime is such a wonderful time of the year. We so enjoy family, the festive spirit and the giving and receiving of gifts.  This gift giving is a very integral part of the holidays. Black Friday and Cyber Monday beckon all of us to spend next year’s money on this year’s gifts! (more…)

A Wonderful Father

It’s fun to decorate, cook, bake, have family and/or company for dinner, give and receive gifts, enjoy time off work or school… for some, football, hunting or other winter activities. (more…)

Rest Unto Your Souls

Monday, September 3rd is Labor Day. This is a day set aside to pay tribute to working men and women. “Labor Day differs in every essential way from the other holidays of the year in any country,” said Samuel Gompers.  “All other holidays are in a more or less degree connected with conflicts and battles. Labor Day… is devoted to no man, living or dead, to no sect, race, or nation.” (more…)
